Photographer Jeff Novak possesses a profound gift in capturing moments and emotions that instill energizing life into his images. Having first engaged the arts as a painter, this SoCal native understands the full spectrum of styles and how to empower each concept with just the right amount of edge. These abilities enabled Novak to shoot compelling magazine covers and editorials for celebrity, music, and fashion. In fact, his many credits include shooting the album cover for Tool's Aenima, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for its artwork.
While developing his photo talents, Novak spent six years circling the globe as a pro surfer, and upon retiring his board, he appeared in several national television commercials. Eventually his love for being behind the lens inspired a more zealous approach to maximizing his craft that brought about his many opportunities in editorial and advertising. Likewise, Novak produced photo art pieces that appeared in several gallery shows and magazine features, while his visionary eye landed him a director's chair for fashion commercials that aired on MTV, VH1, and BET. From shooting classic images to exploiting his surrealist influences, Novak clearly sets himself apart as one of Los Angeles' most inspired photographers.
